Prenatal yoga is a great practice during your pregnancy which you can utilise during birth and post nataly. Each week we will be working on different techniques to support you during your pregnancy and birthing journey. We will also touch base and discuss different topics, explore various breathing and relaxation techniques along with strengthening and stretching exercises. These are all designed to give you the physical, mental and emotional confidence to birth your baby.
Practicing prenatal yoga can help improve circulation, aid digestion, increase overall wellbeing as well as minimising discomforts such as nausea, sciatica, swelling and back pain.
This will also be a great opportunity to have some ‘me-time’ along with connecting with your baby and other pregnant women in your area. Sharing experiences, as well as being able to relate to each other, enhances confidence and creates a great support system as you share your journey into motherhood.
