Keen to learn more about Over Active Pelvic Floor and how this may affect your body? Our Osteopath Sonya has created an info-graphic that outlines some of the conditions associated with an over active pelvic floor.
Restorative Yin Yoga for all ages and levels of experience
Restorative Yin is a slow paced Yoga class that provides time to relax into supported yoga postures, calming body and mind. It releases tension from muscles, joints and fascia, improves mobility and flexibility, prevents injury and reduces stress.
Restorative Yin is becoming very popular to balance an ‘always on’ busy demanding yang lifestyle by letting us slow down, nourish ourselves and replenish our energy.
We can leave class feeling like we’ve just had a great massage!
Book your child in for Mindful Moves terms 2! Classes include fun games, drama activities, and traditional Yoga poses and flow sequences all designed to engage children and support health and wellbeing. Children also learn resilience-building skills from positive psychology such as reflecting on strengths and gratitude to support confidence and self-image
Inform Physio would like to welcome Osteopath Sonja Galenson to our team.
Sonya will be consulting on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons until the end of the year. Her consulting times will increase in 2017 to include some evening sessions. Learn more about Sonya on our Staff Page.
Is your head attached with glue and other ideas worth reconsidering.
(when you learn the Alexander Technique)
It’s not surprising how some old adages have worked their way into how we imagine ourselves, anatomically speaking. When I was a kid, I must have been told a hundred times that if my head wasn’t glued on I would have lost it long ago. Not sure that this helped me in anyway!
Bookings for Term 4 are underway!
